About Me

Hi, I’m Evelyn, a special education teacher, lifelong learner, and creative problem-solver with a passion for helping children thrive. I currently teach special needs preschool students, where I get the joy of supporting early development during the most important learning years. Alongside teaching, I conduct developmental evaluations for early intervention and preschool programs—a role I’ve been dedicated to for over 25 years.

Education has always been more than a job for me—it’s a calling. I believe every child deserves access to meaningful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. That belief has shaped not only my teaching, but also my creative work.  Over the years, I’ve taught myself design techniques and developed a love for creating games, activities, and learning tools that make education feel fun, accessible, and empowering for all learners. I enjoy blending structure with creativity—turning educational goals into playful, engaging experiences that support real growth.

My creativity extends beyond the classroom. I design and sell educational resources through my Etsy and Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) stores, where I share tools, activities, and learning materials created from real classroom experience and decades of hands-on practice.

This blog is a reflection of everything I do:

  • Teaching

  • Evaluating

  • Designing

  • Creating

  • Learning

  • Building

  • Sharing

It’s a space where education meets creativity, where structure meets imagination, and where experience meets innovation.

Welcome to my world of learning, designing, and creating with purpose. 💛
